Sun sand and . . . the Octagon

Enjoying the sunshine and the sandpit in the Octagon on Saturday are Ruby (left, 7) and Frankie (9) Seconi, of Dunedin.

The sandpit, installed on February 15, is one of the additions to the Octagon landscape as part of a trial pedestrianisation undertaken by the Dunedin City Council.

The $150,000 Octagon Experience will end on March 23.
