Traffic slowed to crawl after nose-to-tail crash

Cars were backed up as far as the eye could see after a nose-to-tail crash involving four cars blocked traffic on the Southern Motorway late yesterday afternoon.

A police spokeswoman said they were called to the scene at 4.47pm, and traffic was flowing very slowly as a result of the accident.

A St John spokeswoman said an ambulance attended and one person was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
