A Dunedin woman has been charged with defrauding a car dealer, allegedly of hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Today, a post-committal conference involving the 50-year-old woman will begin, in relation to allegedly defrauding her former employer.
Detective Matt Preece said the allegations date between 2006-11 and involved her former employer.
The Dunedin-based car company had since been sold, he said.
The woman was charged with obtaining by deception, and police were now going to the Crown for an indictment to be laid, he said.
The present owner declined to comment as the matter was still before the courts.
