A fire has broken out in a central Wellington office building on the same floor as another blaze earlier this year.
Firefighters have evacuated the nine-storey Prime Property House on Woodward St, off Lambton Quay, after the fire broke out shortly after 8am today.
A Fire Service spokeswoman said 11 fire trucks, including a command unit, were in attendance.
The trucks are parked along Lambton Quay but there are no disruptions to morning commuter traffic.
The spokeswoman said the fire had broken out on the fourth floor - the same floor as a fire which broke out in the laundry of a day spa in February.
Firefighters said the February fire was likely sparked by oily towels in a drier.
It was not yet known what caused today's fire.
