A woman and three men will appear in court today charged over the death of a man at a loud party in the Auckland suburb of Mt Roskill.
Neighbours reported hearing fighting and screaming in Nash St where the body of John Lia, 23, was found early on Friday morning.
"We heard a party at around 11pm. At 12.30pm we heard a commotion and then at 1.30am there was a female screaming,'' said neighbour Melanie George.
Police said Mr Lia suffered stab wounds and injuries from an assault.
On Sunday police arrested a 39-year-old woman and charged her with murder.
She will appear in Auckland District Court today, alongside three men charged with assault.
Unalotu Kipulotu Tongia, 19, Esau Vailagilala, 19, and Faamanu Fesuluai, 43, appeared in court on Saturday and were remanded in custody.
