Fire crews, including a hazardous materials team, are at a gas leak at Auckland Medical School.
The Fire Service was called to the building in Park Road, in central city Grafton, about 10.13am, northern fire communications shift manager Steve Smith said.
The situation was under control and emergency services were waiting for crews from Vector to repair the leak.
