Kiwi fails to claim $2.1 million prize in Australian lottery

A New Zealand woman has won a $NZ2.1 million waterfront mansion on Australia's Gold Coast but has not come forward to claim her prize.

The Returned and Services League (RSL) Art Union general manager Luke Traini said despite numerous attempts, the prize winner - a New Zealand woman from Reporoa - could not be contacted.

Her multi-million dollar home is located at a luxury retreat twenty minutes north of the beaches of Surfers Paradise and surrounded by sub-tropical rainforests.

If she can be tracked down, the woman will also take home more than $NZ50,000 in gold bullion.

The RSL is a charitable organisation established to raise funds for returned service men, women and their families.

The second prize winner was also a New Zealander who has already claimed their prize of $NZ12,713.
