A man has been seriously injured after the car he was driving hit two parked cars and a light pole in Auckland overnight.
Emergency services were called to the crash in Aviemore Drive in Howick shortly before 1am, police said.
The driver was seriously injured and taken to hospital, while the passenger of the car was injurd, but not seriously.
Serious Crash Unit have examined the scene.
