Police have released the name of a motorcyclist who died following a crash near Nelson last week.
He was Jason Walter Joseph Hull (52), of Tasman.
Stuff reports that Mr Hull lost control of his motorcycle while riding on the Neudorf Saddle with a group of friends on October 8.
He died of his injuries at the scene.
The Serious Crash Unit are continuing to investigate.
