Two people have been killed in a van crash near Morrinsville in the Waikato this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the scene, on State Highway 27, around 1.45pm.
The road is closed and diversions are in place at Horrell Rd and the Paeroa-Tahuna Roundabout.
NZTA has alerted motorists to expect delays between Te Puninga and Patetonga.
