One person has been taken to hospital after a fire in central Wellington late last night.
Wellington fire communications shift manager Andrew Tollison said four fire engines and a command unit attended the blaze in Tasman Street, Mount Cook, around 11.30pm.
"They found the house well involved in fire," he said.
"One person was taken to hospital but I don't know the nature of the injuries."
Fire safety was investigating, he said.
