A Waikato woman has been arrested for allegedly stabbing her partner in the stomach during a domestic dispute last night.
Police communications Inspector Lance Burdett said officers were called to an address in Te Aroha, north-east of Hamilton, at 7pm and a 31-year-old man was flown to Waikato Hospital in a serious condition.
The woman was taken into custody.
A Westpac Waikato Air Ambulance spokesperson said it appeared the man had been stabbed using a skinning knife which he had just finished sharpening.
