Mister Presley, trained by David and Catherine Butt, recorded his third win in eight days at Addington last Friday.
Butt will continue his association with Artiface in the Invercargill Cup on Saturday. The combination trounced the opposition in the Northern Southland Cup last week.
Western Flare, winner of three races from the Butt stable and seven for Mark Jones, has been sold to Australia.
• OK Courage, who resumes racing at Forbury Park on Thursday night, won a workout by two and a-half lengths at Rangiora on Saturday in 2.32.6 for 2000m (mobile), the last 800m in 57.2.
The Jones-trained OK Courage, who has not raced since May, has gained two of his 11 wins at Forbury Park.
• Castellina Lover, unbeaten in two starts, has been entered for the heat of the Sires' Stakes for 3yr-old fillies at Invercargill on Saturday.
The McArdle-Delizioso filly, trained at Loburn by Steve Dolan, won first up at Rangiora in a 1.58.5 mile rate for 2000m (mobile) on December 31 and she was successful at Motukarara on Sunday.
• Jaccka Tom, an eight and a-half length winner at Ascot Park yesterday when having his second start, is the fifth winner from his dam, True Jaccka. Jaccka Tom, a 4yr-old by McArdle, raced by his Riversdale breeders Charlie and Ailsa Smaill and trained by Murray Brown, is a half-brother to Jaccka Turbo (1.52.2).
Just Gorgeous, winner of the race for 2yr-old fillies at her first start, is part-owned and trained by Hamish Hunter who won three races with her dam, I'm Gorgeous. Just Gorgeous (by Washington VC) is her second foal.
• Leith Innes and Matthew Cameron were suspended yesterday for careless riding.
Innes is out from next Tuesday until midnight on February 8. He defended a charge laid at the Hawkes Bay meeting on January 15.
Cameron is out from Monday until midnight on February 3. He admitted careless riding in the Wellington Cup Prelude yesterday in that he allowed his mount Chettak to shift in near the 700m, checking Hakuna Matata.
Cameron is leading the jockeys' premiership with 80 wins. Lisa Allpress is in second place on 65.
