Event co-ordinator Steve Marshall said the small festival in Fea St had a laid-back feel.
Between 300 and 400 people bought tickets for the event. The party continued into the evening, despite a mid-afternoon thunderstorm, then moved to Dive Music Venue at 8pm.
Mr Marshall wanted festival-goers to feel like they were being transported to another world, despite it taking place in a small back yard.
Mr Marshall said he was proud to bring lesser-known local artists to the stage and wanted to celebrate their hard work.
