Workers cleared sand from the shared path of the bay after the weekend’s wild winds.
Dunedin City Council parks and recreation group manager Scott MacLean said further work to redistribute windblown sand would take place from October 4 to 10.
Sand that has built up against the seawall will be deposited back on the beach.
