    The new Beaumont bridge - completed in 2023 - features two traffic lanes and caters for pedestrians, while the old bridge, completed in March 1887, is a single-lane structure with concrete piers and abutments.

    Since its closure, it has been incorporated into the Clutha Gold Cycling Trail.
