Wearing their pyjamas to celebrate national pyjama day at the Active Explorer Invercargill centre last Friday are (from left) Grayson Rattray, 1, Azaleah Rattray, 4, teacher Moana Whelan, Bronte King, 3, and Porter King, 2.

Centre manager Sophie Pine said the centre also had the opportunity to make a difference in children’s lives by giving pyjamas to the Kindness Collective’s PJ Project, a group that provides pyjamas to children in need.

Parents, caregivers and staff gave 80 pairs of pyjamas for the project.

"Every pair donated will help keep a child warm and comfortable this winter, with support reaching families in communities just like our own"
