One person was flown to hospital in a serious condition following a crash on State Highway 8 near Milton on Saturday night. 

In a statement, police said they were called to the scene in Manuka Gorge, near the intersections with Link Rd and Round Hill Rd at about 6.55pm.

One person was seriously injured and flown by helicopter to hospital. 

The road was closed until about 9pm.
