Former Jaycees from all around the country will converge on Cromwell for a reunion this weekend.
The event involves about 100 former Jaycees and their partners, convener David Whitney, of Alexandra, said.
''There's a couple coming from Australia, a smattering of people from the North Island and the rest are from the South Island - a reasonable number of them from Central Otago, '' he said.
The group gathered for a ''meet and greet'' last night in Cromwell.
Today's options are visiting Highlands Motorsport Park or taking ''Taste of Central'' tours.
A dinner and dance in Cromwell concludes festivities tonight.
A reunion of past members is held every year, with the last one staged at Taupo, Mr Whitney said.
The gathering marks 100 years since the organisation was established.
The group is a non-profit organisation of young active citizens aged 18-40.
The Alexandra chapter, the last Jaycee chapter in Central Otago, went into recess about seven years ago.
