Wisharts Blacksmith and Motor Garage has been getting a spruce-up just as work on the Lake Dunstan Cycle Trail began this week. It is one of two buildings in the precinct on its original site, although a fire in 1992 destroyed most of the wooden interior of the building and the roof.
It has had only minor alterations done since.
On the job on Thursday were Don Cocks (left) and Bernie Scoles, both of Cromwell.
