Bannockburn Arts Charitable Trust trustee Mark Christie said this would be the last time the event would be hosted in the woolshed.
The shearing shed has been the exhibition’s home for the last 14 years.
The trust would continue to support and promote art and culture in the Bannockburn area, but future events will be held at the Coronation Hall.
"It’s a real shame we can’t carry on using it, because it really adds a lot of atmosphere to the whole event," Mr Christie said.
He hoped to have 80 pieces of various disciplines on display for this year’s event, ranging from ceramics to photography and everything in between.
Most of the works are from established and new artists in the Bannockburn area, but there were also guest artists from Central Otago and Canterbury taking part, he said.
Award-winning photographer Janyne Fletcher, of Ranfurly, would be exhibiting her works, as well as Christchurch-based abstract painter Mark Soltero.
The exhibition runs from 10am to 3pm on October 11.
