The Dunstan High School PTA recently held a literacy information evening to familiarise parents with the Wide Reading programme that is part of the Level 1, 2 & 3 English curriculum.
Parents, students and staff attended and began the evening with a fast paced event, "speed dating with books".
Stuart and Rose Thom then presented material on the English curriculum and Janine Gillions from the Alexandra Public Library donated books and magazines to participants.
