Man's body found

A body believed to be that of a missing Earnscleugh man was recovered from the Blue Lake at St Bathans yesterday morning.

The body was recovered by the police national dive squad and Senior Sergeant Ian Kerrisk said it was believed to be that of Mark George Naylor (32), who had been missing from his Earnscleugh home since Saturday.

''While not the desired outcome, we are pleased to have found him and to provide some closure for the family,'' Snr Sgt Kerrisk said.

The matter has been referred to the coroner.
