The Cromwell men were among 12 entrants in the third Movember contest run by the Golden Gate Lodge at Cromwell.
Lodge manager Glen Christiansen, who also entered into the spirit of the month-long moustache-growing competition, said about $600 was raised for the two Movember causes - the Cancer Society and the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand.
The men started November clean-shaven and their efforts were judged on Tuesday night.
Hairdresser Nik Wilkinson judged the entries on fullness, length, grooming and shaping.
A travel voucher of $500 was the top prize.
