Almost 1700 Aurora Energy customers were left without power in Alexandra after an outage early yesterday.
Aurora Energy said on its website that 1675 customers were affected by the cut, which lasted nearly two hours.
The outage began at 12.15am and power was restored just after 2am.
Aurora Energy general manager future network and operations Matt Settle said a fault response team was unable to find what caused the fault.
On Monday morning, more than 400 customers between Beaumont and Roxburgh were left without power for nearly an hour. — APL
