An18-year-old Clydevale man is in Dunedin Hospital after falling beneath a moving trailer on Sunday night.
Police, fire and ambulance were called to Paisley Rd, in Clutha Valley, about 7pm to help an 18-year-old man who was trapped under a trailer.
Sergeant Martin Bull, of Balclutha, said it was alleged the man had been drinking and fighting with a co-worker.
Their employer tried to separate the two men by removing one of them.
As he was driving away, the 18-year-old approached the car and pounded on the windows, before losing his footing and falling under the trailer.
It was a low-speed accident, and the man was dragged for a short distance, Sgt Bull said.
The man is in Dunedin Hospital with skin abrasions, and would be interviewed by police.
