Olympic gold medallists Caroline Evers-Swindell and Georgina Earl are lending their support to major restoration projects on St Augustine's Church and St Patrick's Basilica in Waimate.
The twins will be guests of honour at a gala dinner in the town next Saturday.
They have also donated rowing memorabilia for an auction.
