Cavalcade volunteer call

Wanaka event organiser Katy Macpherson is calling for volunteers to help with next year's Otago Goldfields Cavalcade, which will finish in Wanaka on February 27-28.

At least 400 people and their horses are expected to converge on the town from 10 trails through Central Otago.

Mrs Macpherson said the event provided several fundraising opportunities for community groups and people were needed to help with a variety of tasks.
