Four candidates are on the shortlist to take charge of the Warbirds Over Wanaka air show.
Warbirds Over Wanaka community trust chairman Garth Hogan said the final four candidates would be interviewed on Wednesday.
More than 70 people, mainly from the South Island, had made initial inquiries about the role, with 46 applications subsequently received.
He hoped an announcement on who had been appointed to the role would be made within two weeks.
