A woman caught up in the aftermath of an alleged kidnapping in Queenstown will be sentenced in February after pleading guilty to a charge of possession of methamphetamine.

Lilly Dianne Boden (21) appeared before Judge Michael Turner at the Queenstown District Court today on a joint charge, with Joshua Veint (23), of the posession of methamphetamine.

Police withdrew a second charge of possession of methamphetamine.

Her counsel, Liam Collins, said he would apply for a discharge without conviction.

Boden was allegedly found with Veint in a remote hut near Glenorchy on December 3 after the latter was the subject of a five-day police manhunt.

Judge Turner remanded Boden on bail to February 9, imposing a condition of residence.
