The naked man reportedly seen tramping public Wanaka tracks this summer has not yet been found.
Police believe he is not a known naturist living on private property beside the Clutha River between Luggate and Cromwell.
Senior Sergeant Allan Grindell said yesterday the naturist did not fit the description given of a naked tramper reportedly seen on the Outlet Track on Wednesday and on the Mt Iron Track on December 23.
Police have appealed for public help in identifying the man, who was wearing a hat, backpack and shoes on the Outlet Track.
