"We've had a few suspects nominated from various people, so it's just a matter of working through those," Sergeant Aaron Nicholson, the officer in charge of the inquiry, said.
Several of the suggested suspects were "not viable" as they were already in custody, but there were others who were being considered.
"It's one of those long processes, where it will take some time to work through those things."
The incident happened just before 10.30pm on January 31, when three men armed with weapons and wearing bandannas entered a Stratford Tce house and demanded drugs and money from the occupants.
The victims were two men and a woman aged in their early 20s.
Three other people were visiting the house at the time.
One man was hit over the head with a wheelbrace and required stitches. The others were uninjured but intimidated by the two other offenders, one of who held a large piece of wood.
The offenders left on foot towards Russell St with a small amount of cash and miscellaneous items.
Sgt Nicholson appealed through the media the following day for public help in identifying the three intruders, who he said had specifically targeted the property.
