Willowridge Developments staff member Hannah Whelan adds another sold sticker to the board at the company's Timsfield subdivision in Lake Hawea on Wednesday night.

The company sold 30 sections for a total of $4.57million in less than an hour on Wednesday evening.

The sections were priced at either $149,000 or $159,000.

Director of sales and marketing Tony Brown said yesterday only one section remained unsold.

About half the buyers were local and half were from out of town, he said.

Development manager Allan Dippie said the company had tried to make the sections ''affordable'' and a reduction in the development contribution required by the Queenstown Lakes District Council had made a substantial difference.
