A woman was found cold but safe and well by search and rescue teams after becoming lost on the Moonlight Track near Queenstown on Sunday.
The woman (44) set out on the track at 9am on Sunday from the top of the gondola, but sent a text message to her partner about 2.15pm to say she was lost.
Two teams started searching the track and found her on Sunday night.
