Two Wanaka construction companies have entered voluntary liquidation.
Dunedin liquidators Iain Nellies and Paul Jenkins, of Insolvency Management Ltd, are now in charge of Advanced Construction Ltd and Speed Panel Building Systems Ltd.
When contacted, Mr Nellies said he had been instructed by solicitors acting for the shareholders, Chris and Lizzie Conroy, of Wanaka.
Mr Nellies said it was too soon to comment on the companies' financial situation.
"I have been advised the businesses stopped a few months back and haven't been operating. I understand they lost money on a development when they were not paid the final instalment. That's all I know at the present time," Mr Nellies said.
Further information should be provided this week and a statement on the companies' financial situation should be available on the Companies Office website later, he said.
