Arrowtown shows its spring best

Things were blooming marvellous in Arrowtown yesterday as the town prepared for its annual flower show.

Today marks the 95th Arrowtown Spring Show, and hundreds of entries are expected in dozens of categories.

Members of the Arrowtown Horticultural Society, including treasurer/secretary Jane Brough (left) and president Jean Britton, were busy setting up in the Athenaeum Hall.

As well as flora alongside arts and crafts, a "spring bride"-themed fashion show will feature.

The show runs from 1pm-5pm.
