Team members took time out from its racing schedule to experience the adrenaline of a 60m free-fall before swinging through a giant arc at 150kmh from the platform 109m above the Shotover River.
Mr Farr is shown making his swing under the watchful eyes of operations manager Brad Cutler (left) and jump master Andrew Marlow.
Canyon Swing marketing manager Claire Stewart said there were at least 10 jump styles that could be adapted to suit an individual's "tolerance for fear and fun".
"The use of chest and seat harnesses mean people can leave the platform any way they desire to get the maximum canyon rush."
