A Queenstown man arrested during drug busts in Queenstown and Cromwell in June will be sentenced on two charges next month.

Ned Edward Reo Webster (36), gib stopper, yesterday admitted possession of class C-controlled cannabis plant and possession of class A-controlled methamphetamine for the purpose of supply.

Both charges were dated June 10.

Webster, who has been remanded in custody, appeared by audiovisual link before Judge Bernadette Farnan in the Queenstown District Court.

He will be subject to a Crown sentencing in the Invercargill District Court on September 10.

Police seized more than $200,000 worth of methamphetamine and more than $30,000 in cash during the June 10 raids in Queenstown and Cromwell, which followed an earlier arrest in Alexandra where methamphetamine was found and an arrest made.
