A lane on Crown Range Rd near Queenstown is now open after being closed earlier today following a two-car crash.

A police spokeswoman said the cars crashed about 11.40am on Crown Range Rd near Eastburn Rd.

The lane was reopened about 1pm this afternoon.

Both cars were towed away.

The initial reports were of no-one being injured, she said.

A witness said one of the cars was in a ditch.

Firefighters from Arrowtown and Frankton attended and were cleaning the road after the crash, the witness said.
