Police are investigating after a 44-year-old man was found dead at a property in the South Canterbury town of Waimate last night.
Emergency services were called to an address on Belt St, Waimate, at 7.30pm, where the man was found dead, police said.
Police were conducting a scene examination and a post mortem examination would take place today or tomorrow.
