Mrs Keddell, 81, said she was thrilled to receive the award, after fellow Toko Golf Club members nominated her for her "tireless" work landscaping and beautifying the course in Milton for the past 12 years.
"I love lamb, having been brought up on a Lovells Flat farm, but this should really be shared with my team of willing volunteers at the club.
"We do a lot of maintenance, planting, weeding and spraying, and they’re a wonderful team of blokes."
She played her first game at the club in 1961.
"I love to play, and I love what I do looking after the course a wee bit.
"Thanks to my fellow club members and to Silver Fern Farms."
