A 63-year-old man was seriously hurt after being trapped under a tractor in South Otago today.
The man was flown to Christchurch Hospital after the accident, on a Lovells Flat farm, between Balclutha and Milton.
Emergency services were called to the farm on Lakeside Rd about 3pm.
A St John spokeswoman was unable to say what his injuries were, but said they were so serious, he had to be flown directly to Christchurch for treatment.
