Residents have an opportunity to support breast cancer research this month as the Clutha & District Pink Ribbon Breakfast takes place in Balclutha.
Those wishing to support the Breast Cancer Foundation are invited to the South Otago Town & Country Club on May 24, at 9.30am.
Shona McDonald will host the event, which includes a cooked or continental breakfast, and a presentation by John Hollis, author of Northern Territory memoir Kangaroos in the Kitchen.
Last year’s event raised $3000.
Raffles and auctions will be available, and tickets can be booked for $20 per person, via Shona, on 021 040-6136.
