The vehicle, with three people inside, went off the surface on Clutha Valley Rd about 11km from Balclutha.
A spokeswoman said police were notified of the incident at 3.50pm.
A St John spokesman said one person was treated for minor injuries. They were taken to Clutha Health First in Balclutha as a precaution.
