Musicians from the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra will perform in Gore next week.
An ensemble will visit nine schools while in the province, and perform concerts at selected venues.
The musicians will be guest artists at the end-of-year concert for the Out of School Hours programme at St Andrews Church, Gore, on November 11.
The visit is part of the orchestra's outreach and education programme, which aims to educate schoolchildren and community groups and introduce them to the world of classical music.
