One person has sustained moderate injuries after a vehicle crash near Invercargill this afternoon.
Emergency services were called about 1.40pm and were still on the scene nearly an hour later.
A police spokeswoman said it initially appeared someone was trapped.
She understood only one vehicle was involved.
The crash happened near the Mill Rd North and Drysdale Rd intersection.
Mill Rd was closed and a diversion was in place.
