One person is seriously injured after a quad bike accident in Southland.
A police spokeswoman said police were called about the incident on Waikaka Valley Highway (State Highway 90) at 11.30am.
A St John spokesman said one person was airlifted to Dunedin Hospital with serious injuries.
A Fire and Emergency New Zealand (Fenz) spokeswoman said two appliances from Pukerau and Gore also attended.
