Cr Ria Bond said yesterday she felt disgusted after reading the Otago Daily Times story which revealed Alan Dennis was the subject of a harassment complaint from an ILT staff member who said he "crept" behind her and "blew on the back" of her neck during a visit to her workplace.
She said given the nature of the complaint, the community would expect there was a consequence for poor behaviour.
"I would implore the stadium board to review the fact they have a stand there named after Alan and look at potentially removing it.
"Because what it says if they do nothing, if they sit on their hands and do nothing, it tells our community that they support his behaviour."

She believed the leaders needed to lead by example as the community deserved the confidence in people in those management roles.
"I am sick of the old boys’ club and the community already had enough of that."
She commended the actions of ILT management, who dealt with the complaint in a serious and effective way.
As reported, chief executive Chris Ramsay and ILT board member Paddy O’Brien met Mr Dennis after the complaint and they reached an agreement where the former chairman agreed to not visit the woman’s workplace.
"I’m actually really happy to see that they acted so quickly and chose for and to protect the employee to the extent that Dennis was asked to not return to the premises.
"I applaud them for that and for acting transparently, in a professional manner and that is what I would expected from any organisation."
ILT Stadium chairman Hayden Rankin said they become aware of the situation yesterday.
"We are going to meet to discuss [it] as soon as we can."
