Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault outside a takeaway shop on Thursday night.
Sergeant Martin Bull said a 19-year-old Clinton man was taken to Dunedin Hospital with blurry vision following the assault, which happened outside Canton Takeaways in Clyde St at 9.30pm.
