Event founder Jossi Wells said fostering the culture found in snow sports was paramount and the main motivation behind hosting the event.
"With the competition space becoming very streamlined toward the Olympic pathway, I want to create a space for the other sides of these sports to thrive.
"The support from these incredible athletes making it down here from all over the world just shows that this style of event is wanted within our industry.
"I could not be more honoured to have the opportunity to provide this for athletes," Wells said.
The annual event hosted by the X Games gold medallist saw nearly 100 athletes from 18 different countries flock to New Zealand for a "jam" format competition.
Unlike traditional snow sports competitions, the "jam" format has athletes perform the tricks they want without any completion runs.
The event was held at Cardrona and Treble Cone.
Instead of a panel of judges, the week-long event was rider-judged — athletes nominated overall champions for ski and snowboard, men and women.
Three events were held across the week: a rail jam (Cardrona), TC Shoot-Out (Treble Cone) and a Big Air (Cardrona).
The event closed with an awards ceremony and an after party is set to take place on September 27.
Thirty-two of the 98 athletes competing were New Zealanders.
